hiding the center crosshairs

Hey All,
Is there a way to toggle off the center crosshairs in symbols; I have some small icons and it gets annoying staring at it :)

I am not aware of such an option, but if you think that the crosshair is in you way, just move your drawings in the symbols ABOVE the crosshair.
