hi there, it's ok. I am not a fan of big pictures everywhere type of pages, so I will not comment on that. I found the text a bit hard to read because of the image in the bg. Also, it took about 15seconds to load on my DSL connection. At that size you might consider a load bar or splitting the content up so your views get an immediate experience.

cheers, doc

Thanks for the feedback. Those are some important observations I need to consider with these types of projects.

I thought the top half was great and the image closing and opening was an unexpected touch but the bottom could do with a redesign to get rid of the image behind (or in one case on top of ) the text. How about making the blue bar on the right thinner so you've got more room for the image your using as the text background. I'd also get rid of the component scroller cause they look terrible ( just my opinion ) and the menu text is a little large.

Just my opinion, hope it helps and I had no probs on a 500k connection.

Its blunt, so dont read any farther if yu easy pisssed.

- get ride of the margins and make the background blue.

- stream the music. Show the other stuff first. you want the user to see something(content) in the first 10 sec's, or they take off, i knwo cause im one of them :-)

-you images look good, i lek the general lay out. i would look over the menu bar.

-is this a site that you want people to just come off the web to cheak it out? if so i would make it HTML/flash, as search engens will pick it up easier. if so keep the main animationin it, it loks really cool.

Being blunt and honest is fine with me. I rather have people be up front than lie. Thanks for your comments. I was thinking about making an HTML version as well for those on dial up.

I was thinking about making an HTML version as well for those on dial up.

the main reason for using flash is because it is faster than dail up... if you split your file up into loaded parts, then you can run a funtion based on the connection speed of the user. Just a thought
