First off I admit it is waaaaay to static as yet, and a wee bit to boring to be hounest, but I'm working on that.

Secondly i'm not a pure grapics designer, photoshop and stuff, so it lacks a bit in that department. But what do you think of the overall design and layout? It's 100% actionscript generated.

I'll post a more dynamic version i a month or so, but I could use some critism untill then (not too harsh plz :D):

Its quite nice, I like the design and the liquid effect. It makes a good impression on me when I enter. Its a very nice start on the page. Very clean.Have nothing to complain about yet.
The preloader did not show though.

hey, it was fullscreen and I couldnt view fullscreen @ the moment, ;)

so as a try to rapidly shut down the site i got a weird error that I only have gotten in a stand alone flash player just testing stages

the one about theres a script that is running and is doing something and do you want to terminate the script..

this was during closing of the site...at least clicking on the top right corner

Keep it coming. Weird about that error though Timmee101, haven't heard anyone else had it but I'll look into it, what are your systems specs by the way?. I'll post the new version when it's done.

Ahh offcourse, sorry about the mistaken nationality jupiter759 :rolleyes:, must be a nice place to live though.

And that "DAMN SLOW COMPUTEr" :eek: would explain the error by the way. The site is almost completely realtime generated. So with a slow system it would indeed take longer to build up the site. And if that takes to long, after 15 seconds I believe in flash mx, it generates a message asking if you want to abort.

But a good point and I'll see what I can do about that.

what do you mean by real time generation?
I guess each of the little squares to build up the face?

Yes, it's indeed called chromeless window. Look it up in google or something, you're bound to find something.

And yes, with realtime I ment building up te face and side bar. Thing is all the boxes, which are all instances of a class, get there individual colors form an array which in the end make up the face. And then it uses a drawSquare routine, and the flash mx drawing methods as you perhaps know aren't that superfast. Especially not when done in one big go!

I was thinking of just duplicating a certain clip and give that the color, I'd lose some flexiblity, but would be a bit faster though.

Yes, it would be the most logical aprouch, I tend too make thing to complex sometimes :rolleyes:
