I have a client who wants top implement a CGI/Perl mortgage calculator in Flash. I am wondering if I have to redesign the entire calculator in Actionscript or can I make Actionscript communicate with Perl.

Note* I downloaded one Flash mortgage calculator but had problems with it when importing it as a swf. Also, it didn't allow for decimals.

How would I post to a CGI form from Flash(can I do this?), then have the CGI calculate the variables and pass them back to Flash (can Perl pass variables back to Flash?).

If you need more info from me let me know.

Pointing me to a tutorial or a any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
