It's a service that will submit your site to the search engines like google, mysearch, altavista, metecrawler for a certain amount of money, the more you pay the closer to the #1 slot you get on search results.

well, sort of....

You can't pay more to most search engines to have better listings - you can pay to better your chances of being included, for example at Yahoo and Lycos, but you will have to buy CPC from Overture (displayed on yahoo and lycos, msn, altavista as sponsored listings) or from Google (adwords etc. displayed only on Google).

If someone tells you that you will be paying more to get a better listing, ask for a breakdown of the submission fees - and be wary. Yahoo charges 299 usd annually for commercial sites, for example. Google is free and google's results are found on several engines.

Also, seeing that this is a flash forum, take note that flash sites are not picked up well by search engines - google for example cannot crawl a flash movie. Use other methods to attract robots, such as adding a few html pages linked from the opening/splash page and a paragraph on the site's offerings on that splash page, and provide a link from those pages to the 'real' flash site for viewers who may find you through that avenue. Spending a few hours optimizing your site will pay off more than spending a few hundred dollars.

There's some search engine 101 for you... ;)

Try Submit Wolf Link (http://www.trellian.com)

I have had good results with this program you only pay for it once but you can use it again and again.
