Flash movie dimensions limit

I'm working on a Flash file that has a long horizontal movie clip I'm scrolling left/right [the actual movie dimension width is ~ 400 px]. However, I appear to be limited by -700 pixels left and 700 pixels to the right of the stage. Is there a way to increase this "workspace" dimension? Thanks.

No... You will have to divide the movieclip to smaller size... Say if your total length of the movieclip is 4000 pixel, then create two movieclips of 2000 pixel each... Most of the times, that does the trick... ;)

Shoot; I was hoping that wasn't the case. That's going to make what I'm doing a lot harder. Oh well; just another challenge to meet. Thanks!
