Hi. This is my first time posting so bare with me.
I am creating a navigation bar with 5 links, I would like to create a small bar that comes out from the side and goes under these links. Also I would like to to move from one to the next if the user moves to another link. I would like it to tween, and when the user rolls out for it to go back to the side disapearing. I have tried creating this but I am not the best at actionscripting and have gone through tutorials that were simular, and I just get lost, if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be great

unfortunitly I can't find the website I saw it on, but i'll try to explain it the best I can.
On enetering the main timeline, you see the navigation bar, on the left side of the screen, with 5 buttons. Once the user rolls over one of the buttons I want a small rectangle to tween from the far left out of view to under the button the user is over. Now from here the user can one of three things, but only two are important to me. He can roll off the navigation all together, and here I would like the rectangle to tween back to the left out of view. Or the user can go to another button, where I would like the button to tween to under that button. the third thing was if the user clicked the button where it would tween out of view again.
Hopefully that make a little more sense.

Sorry but I forgot to mention one thing. The nav bar lies horizontally. Also the bar tween that goes under these button I want to move from one button to the next, for example, I have my home button on the far left to the edge of the MC on roll over the bar tween under it, Now say the user moves to the next button that is just right of it the bar will move there. this is where my major problem is at. I can get it to move back, and then another bar moves out and goes under the second button, but I would perfer it the first way.
Thanks for the attemps it my fault, I didn't explain it as clearly as possible
