Let me know how I can make this better, thanks. :)

The site looks nice and clean, but you could add way more graphics if it is a web design site, you could also change the navigation rollovers, which i think are pretty dark.

but I also think maybe a little showing off is what is needed here. A few graphics, a little animation, just to show some of what you can do. If I'm a potential client, I want to know if you can make my site stand out from the rest and I will be looking at your site to see if you can do that.

Yeah I was considering making a "Projects" section of the site where I could show off some work that was lying around. For example:

As far as the design, though.... yeah, I think you're right that I do need more graphics to make it more lively.

one question:
why would somebody choose to pay $20 for template when it they move their mouse to the left about an inch they can get it for $10?
I think that the fact that the entire site is in PHP says something about your skill. Your navigation was consistent but I'm also consfused by the separation of the navigation elements. you have the horizontal boxes on the left and a verticla html list on the right. if you have enough room to add those to the horizontal graphic-based navigation (and it looks like you do) why not add them?
Looks good

The reason why I listed both prices was to give people a choice. If they thought that the template was worth $10, they would pay $10. If they thought it was worth $20, they would pay $20. As far as the navigation, I just wanted to highlight the main items on top and list some other things (like contact information and the portfolio) on the side. But I figured that listing the basic services on top made everything a bit simpler.
What do you think I could do to the design itself though, to liven it up?

It's a bit dark methinks. And of course pictures or graphics would be nice. And you're way to cheap! Man, I wouldn't do anything for 10$! :)
And the buttons/links should react when you mouseover them - not their text - very confusing!
And you should check your colours in 16 bit. They are a bit off, not a big problem, but a design firm should be able to fix it ;)
But, you're not bad. You're actually quite alright, and as I said: way to cheap!

Yeah, well I am selilng those templates because the site is not really that popular. I have worked hard to make good templates, but I don't get a lot of traffic to the site even though I have listed it on search engines, made e-mails, etc. But still nothing. I lowered the price to $10 in the hopes that they will start selling.
As far as the mouseover buttons, I used CSS to change the text color but then Javascript for the actual cells of the table to change, and it just looks funny if someone hovers over the cell and not the link. So, I guess I'll just have to change the highlighting of the links from CSS to Javascript. :)
As far as colors, though, they look alright in IE (5.0 anyway), but when I look at them in Netscape the colors don't quite match. Grrr.
