I know about 1/100th of all the things possible w/Flash, and the site is pretty darn basic, but I'm willing to learn, so be as honest as you feel!

That's ok, you made a good job, but i think the design could be way better.

while the design is not my style the navigation is very intuitive (to a point - more on that later). with such a powerful tool (flash) a lot of people tend to completely ignore the fact that somebody else is going to try to use a site so you get props for that.

the navigation that runs down the left side is very usable until it disappears in the calender section (and doesn't return in any section below that). the home button is in an unusual position and takes a moment to locate (be careful of that since people don't like feeling lost)

I would suggest reflowing some of your content so that there is room for the navigation on the left of every page and also to place the home link at the top of that navigation.

I like it. Keep the graphics simple. In my opinion I like the menu better then most flash pages because they overdue stuff!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the navigation bars--they do need to be on all the main pages. Now to just figure out how to make them fit! I'm sure I'll rework this site 100 times over the next few months as I actually learn how to use Flash, but this version of the site is SO much better than the *extremely* basic Frontpage site that this organization had before, so they are happy for now.
