passing variable i AOL not working

i have a login box that when you hit submit passes 2 variables (user_name, password) to a php page.
simple enough.
it works.
everywhere except in AOL.
anyone have any experience with this problem or have a workaround? im dying here. this page is supposed to launch tomorrow and the problem was just discovered today.

in using basic getURL nothing fancy at all. I hate AOL.

Even our website doesn't work properly in AOL-browser.
I think you don't have to care about some scrap-browsers like AOL or Opera. It is not your problem if the "browser" doesn't understand even simple HTML
