help calling a flash function I created from javascript w/ params

Hey All,

Anyone know how to call a function that resides in my flash file from javascript, and pass a parameter to it? So far, I haven't had any luck checking all the normal sites and threads.

I know how to call flash methods, those that are built in, but I want to call functions that I have created that reside on keyframes or onclipevents.

Unfortunately not. Most responses I got from other forums were along the lines of "Wait until Flash 6."
