Heres a challenge. A simple game from a single script.

and heres my starter. I put it on a html page cos its about 200 lines.

Its based on the popular game Mastermind where you have to choose colored counters to crack a code.

We have this game everywhere in the UK - I'm not sure if it is as popular in the states.

But if you don't recognise it then say and I'll explain the rules.

BTW - If it doesn't work please say because I can't check it from this computer as it doesn't have flash on it.

yeah, a challange!
wait till tomorrow, and you got an answer (I think it will be something..., let's first see if it works like I want) :D
started 3 hours ago, hope it will be done till tomorrow-->it's done

about 12 hours of pure scripting later...
it's done (ok it's a little bit more than 200 lines, but I could reduce the linecount by reducing the details, removing the notes and my little copyright ;) )

play it

the code:

make sure not to have the yahoo ad text selected
(be happy, i first wanted to pose the whole code in [ AS ] tags here)

(just wanted to say, we're waiting for other games :D)

Very cool, mcGiver! :D I love that game, I used to play it on my old 486 SX-33, but it was called Monkey :) As a matter of fact, I wanted to do that game in Flash, but never got the time to do it... :(

guess thats much better than mine. Didn't know how to play it but it sure looks good - clouds etc.

better than the crumby graphics on mine.

hmm, better graphics do not make a better game. I like yours too

how to play it:
hold down left mouse button to incrase Firepower , move the mouse to set the direction to fire, relase left mouse to fire

here a version with some little AI (just some Math to make him fire in the right direction)

play it:

the code:

you can make the game harder by reducing the stupidity
(if you set stupidity to 0, every 2nd bullet hit's the target)

McGiver that's super cool;) scorched earth is one of my all time favorites. in highschool i used to go get stoned with my neighbor and play it on his p75...damn that thing was fast:)

Hey yeah, I figured out how to play yours and its a cracking game.

Your right better graphics don't make a better game but better graphics means more skilled programming - thats what I meant. My graphics compose of just a simple line. Its a bit too late to change it now - better graphics would mean an entire reworking.

I still do that littleRichard..except the games have upgraded ;)
