a scale type slider that pass variables

hey guys..

need alot of help on this one...

i went to launch.com and saw it on their site...their lauchcast console..

they have a slider that has value rating of a song from 0 -100. when u slide the bar..it moves the number accordingly..

the variable is pass when u release the slider..and it shows a little animation that says " rating..." ..when its done passing the variable ..itd goes back to "rate it"..

the value is somehow stored..cuz when u come back...it displays the variable or rating u last set.


help is definitely in need here..

ok..how about just passing a "vote" or simple "rate it"..like the movies gets a 10 and pass it over..etc..
