Lightning effect?

O, sorry I missed read your post I saw the intro and thought this (http://www.actionscript.org/showMovie.php?id=702) but your looking at the lightning. There is a lightning effect here:
http://www.actionscript.org/showMovie.php?id=103, but I don't know how much that will help. :)

It like more electric effect than lightning :D. But thx for the Link, i want to learn it too.

I'd be saying it was a frame by frame animation. It looks like the lightning itself is layered white bars, from 10% or so up to 100% in the middle (it's more obvious on the enlarged bolts) that have ragged edges. Then they jump between a few slightly different bars to give the impression of it moving.. at a sped up pace..
