Hi,
I'm using FFF Galaxy at 8pts in Flash MX. It looks fine on screen, but when I export as an swf, it appears ant-aliased?
How is this? Any ideas how to stoip this?

Do a search right here in the forums. There are thousands of posts on the subject.
Good luck.

Put your text box in an exact pixel reference..
example: X= 10 px, Y = 10 px
Donīt put your text boxes in X or Y positions like 10,5 or 7,8

Thanks for your replies. Stupidly, I posted this, then searched and found the answer.
Placing the text box and it's parent clips (if used) at exact pixels works

Hi what do you mean by turn of editing? I am using Studio MX 2004. Also is it trtue you can use pxiel fonts in stages of 8? ie: 8, 16, 24?
Thanks
Oh how do I embed a font in case the user doens't have the pixel font?

I don't know, what is the problem.
I cheked your attached images (.jpg) and saw the fuzzy font, but in mi computer your .swf looks great, I m using and iBook with mac OS X, perhaps the problem is in the monitor settings of the computer that you are using. (maybe, I don't know...)
Why don't you ask here in the forums for more tests in different systems and monitor configurations?
In that way you could know if there is a big problem or just and isolated condition

I can't open your file as I don't have 2004 yet!
However, the fonts look fine to me!
Make sure that the textbox, movieclips and placeholder clips are positioned exact to a pixel eg.
x = 2.0 (not 2.2)
