How do i make an animated gif?

I'm making a bunch of banner ads in flash, but must also create animated gifs of the same ads. How do I go about doing this?

How are these gifs made?

as long as they're timeline animated you're ok. AS based animation wont translate to animated gifs.

So when you're ok there, just go to

File > Export Movie ...

And choose animated gif (not gif sequence). Save, and you're golden

Make it Keyframes and set the movie frame rate to 8 or les and start to animate it with Keyframes not Motion tweens.
