Dos type effect

I'm working on the tutorial i got here, but i would like to accelerate the typing speed without changing the cursor's blink speed.

How can i do that?

Why don't you just increase the frame rate from the Movie Properties.

well, if i increase the frame rate, the blink speed also increases and that's exactly what i do not want.

I want it to remain as it is, but increase the speed of the animation.

wish I could help you, but that is some legacy code there.. and legacy code scares me..

However I think that the typing speed is tied in with the framerate, so either changing the way it is typed, or the way the icon blinks is the only possibility you have.

I found out a way. Put the frame rate to 30 fps and go into Cursor movie clip and modify the timeline like the picture.
