yugop color fade menu

how do i create a color fade menu like those in yugop...
as far as i know, both setRGB and setTransform change color without any fading effects ...

another thing is the rolling date on the yugop menu also..how do i set the mouseover event to trigger that effects...

This really isn't a simple thing.

if you want to fade you need to write a function that changes the color one step closer to the color that you want and put it on an onClipEvent (enterFrame) so that as each frame passes the old color fades into the new color.

have you checked the code library?
