there's a good one on custom cursors at http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/ but it doesn't cover all the things you asked for. we'll keep this one in mind.

thanks for keeping that in mind. But i have to say i really dislike searching through flashkit. Actionscript.org is way easier and cleaner.
