Cos what if the person you were friends with was your soulmate - and you could have missed out on the chance of forever love.

So I'd say love - take a chance.

If they were worth anything to you in the first place, you can still eventually get the friendship if you split up.

Oh and having heartache in life is necessary. It develops who we are as a person and maeks us stronger

then again, usually when people keep repeating something like this it works in the opposite direction, since people associate this kind of behaviour with all kinds of creepy stuff, like horror ghost letters or a letter from a stalker ... and you might know about this, so pushing towards love ... or maybe total an absolute isolation. :rolleyes:

I just started dating a friend that I have known for 4yr and we are loving it, we re just taking it one day at a time and being completely open with each other, the good the bad, likes and dislikes we talk about it all to come to an understanding. This has a chance to be something wonderful for us both and we are both willing to work towards it...

what is the largest age difference that you would consider between yourself and a partner (older or younger)

Age isn't really the prob now is it ? Under 18 is illegal in most countries though ... :rolleyes: but other factors are more of a prob I think. After all, one 23 year old will be older than another 23 year old. So, how mature is your guy ? ;) (as long as he doesn't start laughing, grinning or smirking whenever you say words like naked, sex, breasts or affiliated words ... then he's definitely TOO young) :p

Unless this boy is still in the womb I'm assuming the age gap isn't greater than 23 years. In this case the question isn't so much the age gap between you but the age of the boy. He has to be old and mature enough to understand and take responsibility for his actions (hah. Listen to me. 16 and I already sound like my father.).

he's 19, so not much younger, but you're right about its not really an age thing. 16 is legal here... not that it matters. but I just keep thinking of how young I was that at that age, but we get on well, and have things in common, but i still keep thinking he's a teenager...

Most of my friend are dating women younger than themselves. I personally don't see anything wrong with age differences, it's maturity differences that are deterministic. I'd date another chick older than myself, age doesn't matter to me, I've always been more mature than my age... harsh life I guess.

So blue like ricod demonstrated, if he is mature and it is legal and he doesn't spend his allowance on legos, action figures and tonka trucks then it's fine. Even though you may think about it now, it will be a thing of the past (literally) as time continues.

I had to check that out for real.. figured they had to update those dates by now. But check it out.. the never updated the law for gay sex. You only have to be 13 for that.. some things in the world are disheartening.

I guess I would say I date every girl who
is older than 17
and young enough to still have her own teeth
(no seriously, I would say up to 24, 25)
(by the way, there are some additional non-age criteria too,
like she has to earn at least 1mio euro the year with modelling ;) )

Without reading all of his post, just read the question.

I would personally, have a good think and just go with the decsion from the heart.

If the decision is over a friend you value and knew most of your life then you know what you should value firstly.

Life, decision, emoutions...SUCK!

I'm also going through a **** patch with life...as everyone does but I guess one day I will find harmony lol I doubt it!
