Howdy... ;)

I sometimes get this problem with not much of reason for it... :(

If I type http://localhost/myscript.php on the IE, I am supposed to see the rendered HTML page from that PHP script, right???

It worked fine, but somehow I get to see the dialog box that askes 'Open' and 'Save' and such... :(

It sounds like IIS is not comprehending what PHP file is...

Obviously, this has happened several times over the past few weeks... and I don't get any virus when I checked the computer with the NAV... The only way, that I know, to get it working again is to uninstall the IIS and reinstall the IIS again... :(

What would be the reason for this thing happening???
And, how do I fix this thing if there is any other way to fix it rather then reinstalling IIS??? :(

Thank you for your time... ;)

you don't have your os set to autoupdate itself do you? you may be getting patches from ms that are breaking your iis.??

Hm... Yeah... I'm on W2K and the autoupdate is on...

That could be the case...
If it is, it is my fault to use the faulty M$ product...
Guilty as charged... :(

Hahaha... 10000th post??? Yeah... If I ever get there, I'll make sure that I add this thread... :D

According to my search on google, most of the links point me towards the 'virus' or sort for the reason on this, but I am not really sure if it was the case... Maybe it was an early haloween ghost??? Hm...
