The rules are simple, take lyrics from a song (preferably one other people have had a chance of hearing ;)) then go to babelfish and translate the lyrics from english to french then back to english again and post the results here. The first person to guess the song picks the next one.

I'll start with an easy one :)

There is a destination a little to the top of the road of the dwellings and the cities which we know the place of A we saw the lights turning bottom the denteux jazz and the flow obtain-expenses Withdrawing from jives and alms of festival two plates record players and bottles and cans of a microphone beat just your slap of hands right your hands

(can you tell i'm bored)

Sorry,

Try to work out what song those scrambled lyrics are taken from (its one I think a lot of people should know) The person who guesses first, then picks some lyrics of their own (again trying to avoid really obscure songs). Once you've found some lyrics go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and use this to translate the lyrics into french. Then take the french translation and again using babelfish translate it back to english.

Finally post the results here for people to try to guess the song :)

Don't know what the song is. Try something simpler... like this

dumpty humpty rested on a
dumpty humpty of wall had large falls
of all the horses king
and the men of all the king
could not still go up humpty

And here's another one. It's part of a verse and chorus

after precipitations has the gone
hope of I you find little more time
to recall you were to us associates in the crime.
They is there is only two years
the man with the costume and the face
remembers that it was there on the case.
Now it is in the love with you,
it is in the love with you it
love is as a hard wall of prison
you could leave me being held so large

gold,
but always believe in your heart
that you obtained the power to know
that you are indestructable.
always believe.

any guesses?

The reason I know it is because one of my friends is a retro freak. He bought gta vice city and doesn't play on it. He just turns the in game radio stations on and listens.
