Well... Googled and found this great explanation... :)A great Australian past time is "wanking". To "wank" in the Aussie tongue means to enjoy oneself immensely. Well i always hear my work mates say it to me, whenever i pass them, i give a wave (because i am nice person) and they call me a wanker - they form slightly different hand gestures than my wave, but i don’t mind - they're just reciprocating the friendly atmosphere we have.
They are sometimes a bit shy about saying how nice i am, because i often hear them say it under their breath in the office - so they dont want me to know that i am the best guy there, or let me know that they all want to be my bestest friend - oh well, its tough being a wanker.

I only asked senocular if he knew what it ment so he doesn't say the wrong thing without knowing it. Before I knew it, everone joined in and took the subject way of thread. No one has done anything bad but I just feel some people maybe offended and I didn't want that.
