View Full Version : My Careers Exam (project) need your help

Alrighty, I've been assigned a final project for my careers project. I get to choose the career of my choosing, and I'm choosing computer animator. This touches on Flash and 3D, the things I'm interested in. I was wondering if a couple of you were up to be interviewed by me, for research purposes. Anyone want to? I can do it by any normal way (email, AIM, MSN, ICQ) or even phone, if need be. I'd rather stay away from phone though, as I would need to type everything up.

I'm interested in getting anyone interested interviewed. The way I see it, I get more info. Thanks to anyone who wants to help out. I need a good mark on this project... its worth 30% of my mark.

BTW #2: Feel free to post some info on what its like to animate in anything. just general info, employers, lifestyle. things like that.

Anyway, I'm off to right my english essay... *sigh*

Huh? No no, its not cheating. I'm going to include some excerpts in the project in fact. She said she wanted us to interview people who were in our field of chose for research information.

I'd love to help out but...

1: I don't work in computer animation
2: although interested in computer animation I'm not at a professional level
3: I'm unemployed
4: I'm 16

I am 19
I am not professional (but I love flash)
I still go to school (no, I didn't fail several classes, and had to repeat them, school in germany is 13 years)

McGiver, i'll throw some questions about what your school experience must be like, and the programs you're taking, and PM them to you.

I can probably help you out. I have a degree in computer animation/multimedia, but I'm an elearning/Flash developer. I've done mostly corporate and some commercial 3d animation as a contractor and I focus on game graphics as a hobby.
