Im very interested in the Flash MX 2004 Professional new feature of Behaviors. But I want to create my own! Ive search the manual and macromedia site but with no luck. Can somebody help me how to learn to write custom behaviors, tutorials, URL, booktitles appreciated!

You can learn from example from your Flash installation.

just go to

Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\First Run\Behaviors

(en may be different depending on the language of your installation)

and look at the XML files there that make up behaviors.

Cool!

Check out my attached first Flash Behavior. It is useful during Authouring - maybe =)
Anyway, what it does: When debug/testing movie it shows the instance name in the output window at the selected event.

Rename attached file to Movieclip_arMyNameIs.xml and copy to C:\Program\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\First Run\Behaviors
