Transparent gradiant

Hey

Is it possible to make a color fade out, like creating a gradiant with blue as the one color and transparent as the other color, if you know what i mean. Can that be made in either photoshop or flash?

yup it possible... if your using flash mx
go to the colour mixer
clik either radial or linea
then you should get two couloured tabs rite?
click the one that you want to be transparent
the just above it ..a little to the right will be an alpha selection box
go rite down to zero for it to be completely transapernt
viola you have your transparent gridient
