Howdy, guys... ;)
I just started studying the ColdFusion a while ago, and I need some good online references... I have no plan of mastring CF at any rate... My desired level is where I can at least read and understand the code...
I've found this place called EasyCFM at http://www.easycfm.com/ and this place looked reasonable... That site has large list of CF related links in it, but I do not know which one is good and others...
Just to simplify the question, you get to say AS, FK, US, KP and so on when you are talking about the Flash, right??? How do you say that with the ColdFusion??? ;)
i would suggest snooping thru a bunch of them and see where you feel the most comfortable...
i've have yet to find a tool/platform with as much goodwill/help you find in the flash community.

Thanks for the reply, tg... ;)
Yeah... I've done that for some days and I still didn't find good and friendly place like AS.org yet... I guess it will take some time... ;)
I'm using Macromedia's forum area at the moment, but the traffic is not so big somehow and the search capability in that forum is not so good... I guess it has to do with the weekend and so on... ;)
you doing cfmx?... i'm still stuck on 4.5, but we may be switching over to .net soon, then i'll do my stuff in asp.net, or i'll build my own webservices, and use them.

As I was saying, my goal is to the lever where I can read the CF scripts... That's all I want to do... I am not doing well with the PHP alone and I gotta study PHP further... ;)
There happen to be a 'free' class at the local CFUG every week, so, I am just utilizing that opportunity to help me understand CF better... That's all... ;)

Why CF just out of curiosity? Why not ASP.NET or PHP, does CF have something that you need over the others?

Nope... No reason except that there happened to have free sessions going on where I could be able to drag myself to the place and force myself to study... (Me lazy bum, I know...)
Um... That's basically it come to think of it... :D
But, you know what??? I learn new stuff from the session, and at the same time, I wonder how to do that in PHP... :D
Yeah... I know that I am not really experienced in PHP... My PHP skill is more like an extended AS skill... I am not capable of nothing more than that... I know that I'll have to study it harder pushing myself further, but I guess I am too lazy... :D
Luckily, I might have some projects that I can do with PHP sooner or later, and I'll make that chance to be my learning ground... ;)
