Hello there. Anyone knows of a simple way to do the following effect - I have a circle (for example) and I want it to split into two circles, but it must be smooth and liquid, like the way cells multiply. If you know a simple way to do this, or you know url of tutorial I would be grateful. Thanks.

Try this for size.

It's the first part of a logo animation I did for the company I work for. It's two, masked circles, which have a tween wobble. I used these to create several multiplies.
