2Advanced - your thoughts

Every so often I check to see what 2advanced are up to and what new sites they've unleashed and although I have always rated their technical skills very highly (mine are crap I might add) there's something about their designs that I often find a little lacking. Unlike say 247-Media for example who obviously like to experiment with various design concepts, 2advanced almost seem a little too predictable if not somewhat ridgid in their design process. Just be intersted in hearing the thoughts of others in the design/developement community.

welcome to AS.org. I would try posting something like this in the "general discussion" since it is general. This forum is for posting "cool sites" and then we can discuss what has been posted. I think i speak for many of the people on this forum when i say this. I could not see myself participating in yet another 2Advanced discussion. It has been dragged on and talked about too much, while nobody's opinion really matters. I say lets quit worrying about it and find some new cutting edge websites to talk about. Thats what this forum is for, anyway...welcome to AS.org and we are glad to have ya...enjoy. :cool:

I think this would be better discussed in general chat, and i am happy to pop your thread over there - however, oaker and annexion are right when they say it has been discussed to death, so its up to you, be prepared for a bit of "sorry mate - valid discussion, but just fed up with discussing it"

Welcome to the forums. What I think about 2A.... its amazing. Cutting edge, literally. It may not look so fantastic or anything. But its leading edge none-the-less. BUT. this topic has been discussed to hell and back.

well, based on the reaction that this thread has recieved so far I think it would be safe to say that I've pretty much well got my answer. And I couldn't agree more. I've long believed that for far too long 2advanced has been hyped beyond all belief whilst other developers and designers have been relatively ignored by industry media despite having produced some absolutely stunning sites. I shan't however talk any further about 2advanced - I swear,lol. Please terminate this thread forthwith.

rest assured if there's one thing I hate it's prats who use forums to vent their frustration so fear not - I shant bite your heads off. Rustybones may disagree but that's only because he does work for me and occasionally incurs my wrath - the poor sod.
