I was hoping to create the following...see this link http://www.isninv.com/main.asp
the bottom menu bar, when you mouse over, a description will roll in from either side and spell out a brief description.
Any ideas on how his is done?

I am still having trouble with this one. Are there other apps. that might create this a little easier? I have about 6 buttins to create with thirty letters in each.
I am thinking maybe a java script or something, dreamweaver....etc?

you could make a movieclip out of the text, and then make the x scale very big, and on mouse over, have code or animation make the x scale smaller until its readable.

I've tried to make one .fla like this. So you can check here: using TextTool and frame by frame animation.

I am still having problems though...i was able to edit the text and the buttontext...but i was unable to add a different description line for the next button.

I was able to create the other buttons...how ever I can't seem to add new descriptions to the other buttons.
when I add a new description, it is visible before i mouse over.
I need to create dufferent descriptions on mouse over.
This is what I have so far.

Add the event handler to each buttons, the script is similar so u can copy and past, then change the text Movie Clip instance name correspondent to the button.
