I've just finished the 2001 version of my site. I would very much appreciate any feedback before going public.

ONE PROBLEM I WOULD LIKE TO SOLVE IS: WHEN YOU DRAG THE INTERFACE SQUARES THEY RELEASE FINE EXCEPT WHEN YOU DRAG THEM OFF THE MOVIE OR UNDERNEATH ANOTHER BUTTON. IF YOU DO EITHER OF THOSE THINGS, YOU CAN'T RELEASE THE DRAG UNLESS YOU CLICK. IT'S NOT A HUGE DEAL, BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD PREVENT THAT.

PLEASE COMMENT ON:

1 -- DRAG PROBLEM [OR NOT?]

2 -- DOWNLOAD TIME

3 -- GENERAL AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY

Thank you very much, Metrov

Load time: 8 seconds(ish)
Mouse problem: When I drag Mona's eye over her chin and srop, it works fine... is that what you weere talking about?
General: Looks good. Orriginal navigation concept (to my eyes) although Mona's been used by Yugop in sorta the same way.
The navigation for the flash portfolio is pretty different tot he front page. I would conside rmaking it a bit more synchronous.
In general, a nice site with god graphics.

Cheers

'god graphics', gosh, what a nice compliment. Thanks, Jesse. Sorry re: the Caps, didn't know it was illegal.

The drag problem occurs only when you drag the squares OFF the main movie frame OR [sorry re: caps] you drag a square UNDER [sorry] another button that is higher in the layers.
Dunno if this can be fixed.

Yeah, I saw Yugop's Mona, and was quite moved by it. When I had my idea, I knew it was similar to Yugop's but felt that I was taking it a step in another direction, so I justified the similarity. Hope I'm not just blowing smoke up my ass?
