I wonder if the following 3D graphics could have been done in Swift 3D and then imported into Flash.....
AT&T: Nokia 3560 (http://www.attwireless.com/media/360/nokia3560/nokia3560_360spin.jhtml) (drag the phone with the mouse)
Is that raster graphics that was vectorazed afterwards?
If Swift 3D can't do that, what is a good soft to use to do that kind of thing? Discreet 3D Max?
Thanks.
i think you´re not able to do so in swift
you will need 3dmax and a lot of patience my friend...

Are you sure that's flash?... doesn't look like it. I tried to look at the source, but i can't get it to show.
The model is a simple 3D model with graphic mapping. Move the phone around so the reflection passes over the buttons and you'll see that they're not modelled... just drawn and mapped over the surface. not even any bump mapping.
Is it a Java interface? QTVR? It didn't prompt to DL any other 3rd party 3D plugin.
it is a java applet. you could do it in swift, but would be real tough. you would have to create a rastered images for the entire 3D rotation and link the movie with x, y mouse position. still wouldn't function the same because I don't think you could do the y and x position at the same time. but I know you could do one rotational axis linked with the mouse.
