transparent gif

hey,

I have several images that I cut out in Photoshop and left a transparent background so they can be added on top of layers in flash with no white background. Here is where I am having the problem, when I place the image over a coloured MC the transparency can be seen faintly over the MC. Is there a way of getting rid of this easily or do I have to trace the bitmap and cut round the image manually? If anyone knows a way let me know.

You can break the image apart and erase it in flash

not the best but it works

You could try using a PNG. It supports 24 bit transparency so you shouldn't get ghosting.
