Does anyone know how the tracealrbox component works? What do i need to put in the scroll content value? Can i put a .txt file?

I think you are talking about the FTraceAlertBox component...

It is wise to provide the link to what you are talking about when you have questions to non-Flash native component so that people will know what you are talking about... ;)

I do not understand what you have meant by putting the text file into the scroll content, but this FTraceAlertBox is just an extension of the trace() function... So, you basically need to use traceAlert() function instead of trace() function to display whatever you want to display into the message box...

This is the quote from the page...Now, every time you would like to trace something and need to see its output inside the
browser or standalone player, simply use traceAlert("your message here") instead of trace("message").
