Please help me and my drop down!!

Please help me, I am trying to make a drop down box that is animated so that they scroll down. I can not figure out A.)n why I cannot even get the simle drop down with no animation right and B.) once I get to that point, how do I animate it. Could you please look at my .fla file and tell me what I am doing wrong? I have been trying to deal with this for a week now and am close to tears!
