Javascript in Flash 4, help me

How do I call a javascript function in flash 4? What I want to do is call up an earthquake effect in flash 4. Thanks in advance to anyone that posts.

To call javascripts you uuse GetURL and the function name something like:

GetURL ("javascript:functionName('proprties')")

That's freehand Flash 4 code, so it's prolly not right but you get what I mean.
