The Bells (http://www.bellbrothers.net)

This is a site that my brother and I made to showcase some of the artwork we have done. This is our second time making a site in flash, so we're really interested to see your responses. The site features our flash animations as well as links to the websites we have created. Feel free to take a look around the site and tell us how to make it better. Thanks.

It is alright. I like the layout and the opening animation. The transitions could be made more like flash rather than like html. Where you reload the page with every click. Once inside of a portfolio page I wasn't sure how to get back to the main page. The B logo on the frontpage only reloads the page if you click on it. Overall the site is nice, but I think you should combine them into one movie, either using loadMovie or packaging them all together. So that when you click a link there is a reversing animation that seems to clear the stage for the new page. But maybe that is just how I like it :)

Alright, we've looked through all the suggestions we've received about the site and here's what we've done:

- Removed the "home" button off the pages

- Made a bottom navigation bar

- Added clickable e-mail links for "john" and "daniel" at the bottom left

- Adjusted meta-tags

- Added "about us:" to clear up some navigation confussion related to the left bar

- Adjusted color schemes of "websites" page

- Made "quickstepjohn.com" link clickable on the left column

- Made individual titles for pages and pop-up animations

Thanks again for all your input.

Looks nice, I like the soft grey gradients.
But why don't you put more screenshots of a project (I'm talking about websites), that you can navigate with arrows for example? This way you can get an impression of the work without viewing the website, because it happens sometimes when links get dead or clients want to change something and it made your work less cool than your original.....

Nice portfolio by the way.
