Hi there,

Have a look at my site and let me know what you think - as I know you will -

It's only at version 1 at the moment. needs some polishing up and more content - working on that.

It feels like forever that I have been working on my own site. Paid work does take priority...

thanks

First impression: I felt that the site was unnecessarily small. Seems like you have plenty of information to spread it out a little. Whitespace is your friend :) The scroll on the photopage is a bit annoying. I start to scroll through the images, and it continues to get faster and faster, not wanting to miss an image I rolloff the button and it snaps to a stop. Wanting to continue, I put my mouse back over the button and wait for the scroll to speed up again, only to have to hurry up and stop again. User wait is definitely a very bad thing. I thought the question mark was a button, but when i click on it the random text changes but nothing else. I felt exactly like the symbol on your button '?'. I wanted to watch your short film, but I couldn't make it larger. With my screen resolution it is like trying to watch an icon. But the film looks cool, and I will leave the site wishing I could have watched it.

Ahoy hoy,

Same crits as above. And I'm thinking the "+" sign is a little trend-whore right now, but you carry it off well. Nice site.

Thanks for the considered comments.

I think I got a bit over zealous in my desire to keep the K's down and made everything a little to small. I'm getting this a lot from other sources.

The "+" is a in vogue, but hay I don't think I over use though.

Any how thanks for your thoughts

It's looking clean, but indeed it's too small. Another thing is the images you used at the top and bottom as a background. I think these can be much more powerfull to give your site somewhat more character. Somehow it's not really balanced. When I'm surfing around and i'm entering your page i won't stay more then 10 secs. because there's nothing really that gives me the attention of wow, nice looking site, or wow, nice content. Try to tease people more to check out your photo's and film. (and get rid of the scrollbar with the + and -.

Like the videos though ;)

It was used in the older version of www.2advanced.com, and I just see it a lot in sites these days. I think yours is one example where its used in good context though. I wasn't trying to sound mean or anything, ;)

No worries,

I put it out there for criticism. Friends and family never give you 100% objective criticism. I think you get closer to the 100% by asking strangers.

I'm happy with what I've created, though I do want to improve and build on what I have done. I'm to close to it so I need "a fresh pair of eyes" preferably ones that know what there talking about (like the boys and girls on actionscript.org).

If I was to take any of this personally I would be a sad person indeed.

All sincere comments, observations appreciated

thanks
