I have been experimenting with importing fonts and loading movies only as needed. And am using my own component Fader.xmp. I just want to know if it works for everyone else.
The mail envelope is a jpg that didn't load correctly, but now it seems fine. And when you click the envelope it loads a page that is dynamic textfield and shared fonts. It should fade in and fade out when the x is clicked
Right now it's not pretty, but so long as it functions I will be happy.

Everything you said is happening on your page but after clicking x the text fades out permanently. Your site loads then stops making one think that nothing will take place next then all of a sudden a red BG appears(after some time with no indication that something will appear or not ) with an envelope.

This is only the initial test page. The colors are all grossly set. The letter jpg is a temporary picture, I just wanted to know if the fader component for the page loads and fades properly.
That page is all dynamic text boxes with shared fonts. It took me several hours of studying shared libraries, setting the text formats correctly, and making the fader component for the pages.
Eventually this will be a page that is designed from text files.
Thankyou for checking for me!

Fader works very well on my W2K/IE6/FP7/56K machine... ;)
Now, I know what you have been talking about for the past months... Very nice... :D

I'm going to upload it Fader.mxp to the components for actionscript.org. Do they test it before they list it?

Howdy... ;)
Great... Thank you for sharing it... :D
I don't really know if they testit or not, but if you want to test it and see what others say, then why not post it to the component section of the forum first and see what others say???
Once you here what other people say, you could post it to the component section... Just my 2 cents... :)
