i was thinking having a thing that would search a persons hard drive for files such as mp3's or .wavs. they would be listed and when the user selects one it plays. if someone could work on that it would be awesome - is searching someones computer possible? - thanx

not using flahs. maybe if you made a program which flash could call or used a 3rd party appliaction. there was even some talk about doing it with javascript in an earlier post but it's still pretty implausible in Flash 5.
