Hi!

I would like to replace a xml node value. the problem is that I change it in the flash object but i canīt change it in the xml file. therefore when i filll my listview with xml values, it takes old values (it fills from xml file and the problem, as i said before, is that i canīt update those values in the xml file)

How could i fix it?

Does it have anything to do with xml.send method? can you give an idea about how to handle it from xml?

thanks a lot.

Hey and welcome inakibalzac,

I don't think there is a direct way to change values in xml files from flash, although I'm not completely sure. But I think you best be looking for some php/ javascript solution for that. I'm sure there out there somewhere. Do a google search, perhaps something will come up.

xml.send will be used in that case to send xml which you created in flash to some script which turns it into an ectual xml document.

Oh... It's just that I have never wrote any text file via JavaScipt... I know that you can use documents.write() or something similar to make the HTML abit more dynamic, but not to the extent on writing the file... That's sorta new to me... That's all... :)

No your right  :).
Javascript wouldn't be the best choose for that. I just ment 'look for a script that does that', and for I knew it I typed javascript. Probably it's more of a php/cgi/perl ;) kinda script, but as you might have guessed I haven't used it before.
