I work for an ad agency that wants to have an extranet on their website that would allow clients to check work-in-progress among other things. I've seen the "Client Login" feature on several sites, and was wondering:

1. Has anyone here either developed or had someone develop an extranet for their clients and/or vendors?

1b. What features have you found to be the most useful and least useful?

2. What advice do you have regarding planning/development/maintenence?

Thanks in advance.

hmmm...

1. well i think that many people here have done this before... i just created a simple kind of CMS for a client, but the idea behind it is always the same.

2. it depends on what your clients needs... this would be like asking what kind of extra would you like for your car... some like this, others that...

3. if you´re handling sensible data, use SSL and secure password systems...

i´m sure u will find something in the movies sector (http://www.actionscript.org/movies-categories.php) that fit for needs.

also check flashkit (http://www.flashkit.com/movies/)
