Hey can someone checkout my fighting game, and give me some feedback?
Its at http://www.flashkicks.com . Click on games, then on StickMan Fight. (There aren't any banners or any crap like that).

It is 175K, but you can start playing it after about 140K.
Like street fighter - with stick men, but it still has combos and special moves, and 4 different characters, and a practice mode etc.

Thanx,
Dean

Great site, everything looks clean and professional.

The game was pretty "kick" ass. That tall dude wooped me good.

I wouldn't have a clue where to start scripting something like this. Pretty impressive and fun to boot.

I liked it, but that's just my opinion.

hey that's fun! Too bad I got a beat down by the other guy :( that's excellent though, nice and smooth.

Only thing that bugged me was the music

cool, nice action. I think it is faster than the original street fighter (ha) the music was great, sort of contraesque.

Thanks for the feedback people. I'm glad you seem to like it.
I am currently working on the next version, which should have proper graphics, and a scrollable background, and projectiles (fireballs, sonic booms, etc). I haven't put much thought into the throw type moves (pile drivers, etc), so I am not sure if I will include them or not.
Also, I'm gonna add some sound effects, and stuff. I will probably break it down so that only the characters that are being used are loaded. Also, I think 20 fps is enough.
Also, Pheonyx, I will add a sound control! :) - and I will try to add customizable keys, or is there any need? did anyone have any issue with the current keys?

Regards,
Dean

Well with only 3 action buttons, block, kick, and punch, the button layout isn't a big deal...what you used worked fine for me ;)

Nice site design also.
Well done - This site will keep me busy for quite a while.

the link isn't working anymore. I'm very interested in making a flash based beat 'em up, any suggestions for tutorials or developement tips on IA for the fighters or special movements [like "towards, down, down-towards+punch= shoryuken"]... I'm in the very early stages of the process, mainly designing the characters, but it would be good to have that worked out when the time comes.

Thanks
