It's really frustrating that MX doesn't integrate well with Photoshop. Admittedly I'm spoiled by the Adobe suite. My current method is to erase the background of a photo in photoshop, then import it into Fireworks MX, save as a .PNG file, then import it into Flash. I'm currently working on a project that requires alot of these however and would like to find a faster way. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW- these are photo's, not drawings, so using transparent .GIF is not an option because the colorspace is not wide enough.

Howdy... ;)

Um... Why don't you save it as transparent PNG from the Photoshop??? I don't understand why you have to use Fireworks as middle man...

upgrade is the best suggestion :)

I use .gif for transparency's. They work well for me unless the image is high in the color count.

yeah PNGs are imperitive. And PNGs from Fireworks are by far the best method going into Flash.
