server directory... swf's not loading...

I’m having a problem with my server directory and swfs.
In my ‘www’ folder I have the index.html and a subfolder that holds all the swfs (main.swf, aboutus.swf, and so on).
Now, when I visit my site only the main.swf loads and not the others.
if I put… lets say… the about.swf in the same folder as the index.html, all works fine.

Whats going on??? :confused:

so.... your main.swf is loaded from '/www/swfs/' into '/www/index.htm'... ?
is that correct?

so inside of main.swf, your links to your other swfs should be:
'swfs/myotherswfnames.swf'

this is cause the swf main is embedded in a file outside of swfs/

does anything i just said make sense?

yes it does tg,
i thought about trying that, but my inexperience with flash made me assume that a path in flash only applies in flash, and that you would have to add extra code (more than just the folder) if the path dipped out side of it.

I should have just gone ahead and tried it… cuz it works! :)
