I think the first one refers to an application that might pull data from a DB, like populating your site with up-to-date stock information. Basically it's talking about Flash sites that are more dynamic, and more specifically whose content changes without someone going in to the Flash authroing environment and updating and re-publishing an .fla file.
The second you've got covered. They're just talking about being up on the Flash buzz and understanding some of the standards outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium www.w3c.org
I'll see if I can find some examples of good flash apps, the ones I think they're talking about.

This might be one good example:

I'll look for a few more, but I'm just guessing here.
the second might also be to show that you know some of the w3c recommendations, and best practices other than flash stuff, like css and xhtml.

Ah, yes... That's a nice example... :)
No... You don't have to waste any more time to find another example... That should be enough... :)
Mainly I am just trying to come up with some easy-to-understand sentence that explains what those requirements are and if I can do that myself... :)

Oopsie... Missed tg's post... This is not good when I don't scroll all the way up after the post is made... :D
Thanks for the information, tg... This is where I stand... CSS, um, not that hard... XHTML, um, what the heck is that??? But then, I already knew what that XHTML is after looking some info from the W3C... Arg... But then, I hate all the words that are abbreviated... :D
Yup... I'll let you know if I here something good... Thanks for the help, guys... :)

Proven experience with programming FLASH applications that uses remote data and images.
You certainly have that with the images from those car templates and the news feed there and you XML work (also the images in RAS). That XML is hot on the job boards, so you are covered! :)

Yup... Job hunting as usual... I am just going public this year... It's not that being a freelancer is bad or anything but I could use some of those benefits like health insurance... :) One of my problem has gone a couple of days ago, and now I can do whatever I want... :) Of course, I like working at home the best though... :)
I hear you totally on the Portland rap... I was living in Chicago for 4.5 years and it really sucked in winter... So, I moved down to GA and lived ther for 3 years which I liked alot... And then some unseen force(my wife, of course) forced me to move to VA and here I am now in the colder plain again... Not as bad as Portland or Chicago, but I don't like cold weather at all... :( Good luck to you... Hopefully you can get the job quick... and hope your wife is in better condition as well... :)

I like working at home the best though... That's why I went freelancing :D. Just makes working so much more enyoable, no colleague's to worry about, just get your work done :).
Am looking for a regular job though, more stability and all. And to be honoust it would be nice to have some other working people around me for a change :).
