While ActionScript.org was down I spent some time taking quizzes on line and found this quick little Myers Briggs test (http://similarminds.com/myers-briggs.html) to be fairly accurate.
Turns out that of the 16 different personality types (http://www.personalitypage.com/high-level.html) I'm an INTP (http://www.geocities.com/lifexplore/intp.htm) which seems a bit more accurate than I'd like to admit. Unfortunately, now I'm torn between choosing a career as either a Park Ranger or a Systems Analyst (http://www.personalitypage.com/INTP_car.html), they're just so similar I can't decide. :D
I'd be curious to learn other forum member's personality types, even if they're not an ENTJ (http://www.personalitypage.com/ENTJ_rel.html) or ESTJ (http://www.personalitypage.com/ESTJ_rel.html) Flash-Hottie. ;)

Thanks TG, fixed the link so it works now. "durr"
So you're INTP... that's interesting. INTP is supposed to be fairly rare (1 to 4 percent of people) but since they supposedly like computer systems, computer animation and math there might be a high concentration of INTP's at a site like this one.

ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools. 5.4% of total population.
I like the "master of tools" bit, obviously the test has never seen me trying to program my video ;)

Pretty interesting... So far everyone but DZY (who's obviously an alien) has been profiled as I*TP. I wonder if this will be a trend.

Figures, once again I'm on the out. :) Of course, I'm a bit on an anomaly.....artistic/design background, studied art history, strength in math and science, programming skills, and as was pointed out............from Melmack :)

"INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population. "
Bleh. Not convinced by that at all. It has me pegged as a "healer" who'd be a good social worker or teacher. UGH UGH UGH
This sounds about right though:
"The INFP needs to work on balancing their high ideals with the requirements of every day living. Without resolving this conflict, they will never be happy with themselves, and they may become confused and paralyzed about what to do with their lives."
*tries to move* .o0(crap!)

DZY, welcome to Earth, you're still an "anomaly" but now you have BlueGel from planet Shmelmak to keep you company.
PinK, were you borderline on your percentages? That might help explain the differences. Might Vile be an ENFJ or the ESFJ?
Stealth, it's based on years of scientific research (well as "scientific" as Psychology can be) by some people named Myers and Briggs.

INFJ
Quietly forceful, original, and sensitive. Tend to stick to things until they are done. Extremely intuitive about people, and concerned for their feelings. Well-developed value systems which they strictly adhere to. Well-respected for their perserverence in doing the right thing. Likely to be individualistic, rather than leading or following.
1.5% of population

what I got:
ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools (8 times)
after refreshing (20 times):
ESTP - "Promotor". Action! When present, things begin to happen. Fiercely competitive. Entrepreneur. Often uses shock effect to get attention. Negotiator par excellence (6 times)
ENTP - "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative (3 times)
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. (3 times)

Master of tools huh? Question is ... are you master of your domain? Or are we talking about the same sort of tool here?

McGiver, out of your four options of ISTP, ESTP, ENTP and INTP which is the one most likely to be "obsessive compulsive" enough to take the test 41 times? I think you might be that one. ;)

=v= <--lowest and common Hey, truth in advertising, you kinda gotta respect that. :D So what letters were you Vile? Stand up and be categorized. It's okay, we won't laugh at you... too long. ;)

I'm, apparentlly and INFP, which I was suprised at in regards to the perceiving and judging, because I consider myself to be a tad on the judgmental side...or maybe that's a misuse of the word?

lol I didn't do the test 41 times, I was just hitting refresh over and over again, and the page offers another possible result.

Btw.: I liked the vodoo idea, and gave it a try.
@TG and Disjuku: if one of you ever get's eaten by a huge cat that is 20 times as big as you are, it's my fault.
And I do already have a lot of hobbys. For example I love staring at the wall, while pages are loading. :D

Okie, this time I got INTP, however the T was 50/50 so I kept migrating between the architect and the questor...?
Pixel, are you still there?
