Howdy... :)

I have never had this thing happening before, but now I do... :(

What is the first place to check if you cannot see the Flash page on the Mac when it is perfectly working on the PC??? I've tried to view the page via Netscape and Safari on the Mac with fast connection, but I do not see the page at all, yet it works perfectly fine in PC...

The site in question is this one... If you have a Mac and if you can check, I'd appreciate it... But if you don't give me an answer when I know you have a Mac, I am going to hunt you down and have my puppy lick your palm till you can't resist it... :D

first thing to check is to make sure you mac has the proper player cb.

Hm... I thought that I'd choose General Help forum, and I see that I've got myself into the General Chat hole... :D Somebody move this thread to General Help forum, please... :)

Well... The only problem is that this happened while I was trying to show one of the portfolio on the interview... Isn't it great??? :(

So, I had no time to check the Flash Player version there... :(

Yeah... I know... Ain't the life interesting??? :D

I had to switch to the PC to show the site, but once it is done, it's done... Can't revert it back... Oh, well... Life goes on... :)

SO, What's the solution, tg??? ;)

Nasty incident there, those things can really bite  .

Any other mac results in already? Perhaps the problem is with theirs, not that it would make a big difference now offcourse  :).

hehe... That's true... You never know what might have caused it this morning... Maybe some early valentine ghost did that???

Maybe I should have gotten it checked with Mac people beforehand though... Oh, well... :)

Yep, but what's done is done. Just have a coffee and wait for the result ;) :).

Sorry to hear that CyanBlue :( I'm not sure what would have caused the problem, but my guess would be their computer - issues with it, or more likely the plugins that were installed.

I called two friends with mac's but neither answered (I guess 2:30 in the afernoon is still too early for young computer types :D). So in other words, I have no help to offer :o

You should have just told the guy, "That's what you get for using a mac!" :D

Stimpson... Yup... That's correct... I won't be hiding under the desk crying all day long... I'll just walk my puppies whole day today... :D

splict... Thanks for calling your friends... Yeah... It is not an urgent thing anymore... I am just curious WHY it wasn't working and what I need to do to fix it cuz that site is something I have to deliver...You should have just told the guy, "That's what you get for using a mac!" That's actually funny... The company that I went to have like 6 people working for the design department... One of the person who I had interview with asked me if I am a PC person or Mac person, and I told him that I prefer PC even though I wouldn't have any problem working on any platform... He said that it's good that I mainly work on PC because basically the company utilizes Windows based technologies... and the other guy who I had an interview asked the same question and my answer was the same, and he looked like he is abit disappointed... He's one of the person who I have to work with and report ot, and he seems like he prefers Mac... As a matter of fact, he had widescreen Mac monitor on his desk... ;)

I am the PC person and I grew up with MS-DOS and I am proud of it... But the Macintosh laptop that I have used to show some of the site was really cool... I think that can be a good toy to play with... I might get one someday... Of course, I'd need a PC laptop before that one... :)
