Well, my birthday was really quiet since I was in the middle of exams. I had my last one today.

Because I'm going to Kyoto from april till august, and my Japanese still sucks, I have been busy studying a lot and watching Japanese soaps (as horrible as the rest of the world's soaps) and reading articles on the net (thank you online translators !).

Meanwhile, I haven't gotten my birthday present yet ! (I wanted worldpeace ... still nothing. People are so inconsiderate these days ! tsssk !)

I'll try to put up some pix in the time I'm there (promised some other people too anyway ... my brother wants to see Japanese Heineken bottles and a friend of mine a couple of geishas ... :rolleyes: )

Well... Lisa Simpson also wanted world peace, but it didn't happen... So, I guess I can give you the news that it is not going to happen any time soon... :(

I've heard that the Japanese ladies are alot fond to non-Asian men, so you'd have to extra careful if you were to go to Tokyo to find your dream girl... :D

Studying Japanese is all good, but I did not do well when I was doing it myself... I guess that sort of motivation should help you get better quicker... :)
