Is it possible to parse variables from HTML to Flash.
i.e. I have 3 "a href" links, 1, 2 & 3 in my HTML document. I also have a flash movie which loads a text file.
Now I want to control which file the movie loads, in conjuntion to which a href link I press.
If I press link 1, the flash movie should load 1.txt etc...

I know you can pass variables to flash from PHP using query strings. But I don't "think" it's possible to pass variables to flash from straight html.
You can learn pretty much everything you need to know about PHP from http://www.php.net

Without reloading it would be hard. Again this would require FSCommands and pretyt much no one out there knows how to do it apparently coz I asked on Flashkit and no-one was game to answer.
You could do it without FSCommands. It would involve changing your embed code from:
or 2, or 3. But this is where I'mt alking about reloading, because you would of coursehave to reload the page to change the cource of the embed code....
Ultimately, the best way would be with FSCOmands, but very few ppl know how to do it :(
